Robinson Ramblings

"O taste and see that the Lord is God, blessed is the man who trusts in Him." God has truly been gracious to us this past year. As I meditate on how He continues to meet our needs and how he lovingly reminds us that He is all that we need, I am thankful for everything that has transpired over the year. We enjoyed a time of fellowship, thanksgiving, and lots of food at the Watsons this Thanksgiving. Hollie and I still spent most of the day together at her place making food. Hollie tried a number of new recipes (vegan style) - they were delicious. Becca made homemade bread and rolls and other goodies , Kelly made a yummy dessert, and Rich and I made turkey, dressing, and salad.

Look who is sitting up - with a little help! We tried taking a family picture on Christmas Eve - this is the best picture of the bunch. It would have been better if we had a person to point and shoot instead of a delayed flash but what can you do . . . .

On Saturday evening (Dec. 5) the whole family met at Jason's house (Kelly's boyfriend) and we celebrated Kelly's 24th birthday. We all brought pizza toppings and Jason made delicious homemade pizzas (with his own marinara and pesto sauces). Derrick and Susie Robinson came from Seattle for the weekend & joined in the festivities. Kelly put on a concert so that Derrick and Susie could hear her perform. A fun time was had by all!

I have tried to post these pictures a few times but experienced some computer problems so here goes! Hollie's 27th birthday was a fun time of fellowship and food! Hollie isn't a big cake fan (other than pink lemonade cake) so she asked for Angel Food pie. Henry really enjoyed the pie, too! Hollie is such a caring daughter and friend. She is always the first person around when someone is in need. She helps us so much with caring for both Ferguson and Sadie (food, shots, advice on training, feeding, and health issues). We love to get together and discuss books that we have both read!! She is our go-to person for selling items on Craig's List (or for that matter any computer related questions) or finding jobs. Thanks for everything! We love you, HOLLIE!

This is beautiful Payette Lake in McCall, ID. We are going up to McCall on Monday & stay for the week. Here are a few pictures of the interior of our house. Last summer Cheryl & Dwight were with us at the cabin. We had such a good time - wish they were coming out again!! We would love any of our family & friends to join us in McCall.
