Happy Thanksgiving!

Some Favorite Pictures

These are random pictures that I really liked. The two of Henry were at 2060 W. Sunny Slope. Henry and I spent so much time in the back yard. He loved to swing on the swing & here he made a bed on it. Jack is sitting up in his little seat - I love it that the word "INSPIRED" is visible behind him! He is such a sweet, happy baby - very laid back.

More House Pictures

I tried to take pictures so you could see how well our window coverings from Sunny Slope fit in our new place. Our things really look nice here, I think.

Our House

We have received several requests for pictures of our house. I am posting a few of the living room, dining area, and kitchen. I will take pictures of the rest of the house once a few more pictures are up and boxes put away. Our offices are taking the longest time - they are functional but not pretty yet. Our bedroom is finished so I'll get pictures of that next. The red tool chest in the picture of the dining area/kitchen is NOT a permanent fixture!! It follows us all around the house depending on what we are fixing or putting up! The table in the dining area is the only one we have right now that is small enough for the area. However, eventually we will look for a little larger table (maybe on Craig's list) so that we can comfortably seat 4 (at least).

New Pictures of My Boys

Here are some recent pictures of Jack and Henry. Jack is growing so fast (he was 4 mo. old on Friday, Nov. 13) and Henry is such a little man. He stayed overnight at our house on Friday night (for the first time ever) & we had such a precious time. Henry likes Nana and Papa's new house but he commented that our steps (going downstairs) were "too deep" and he asked "Should I hold you, Nana?" Of course, I let him hold me (as I carried him down the stairs). The times that he will want to be held are going to pass all too soon! He also asked me "Should I ask you a question?" but he wasn't sure what the question should be! Henry helped me bake pumpkin muffins on Saturday morning - he is a great helper in the kitchen (Grandma Great would have loved having him help her bake). I enjoy every minute that I have with Jack and Henry!

I'm Back!

I know that I should get 40 lashes with a wet noodle for neglecting my blog so shamefully. What in the world have I been doing?? Well, we moved!!! Our beautiful house on Sunny Slope Drive in Meridian was sold and we moved into a 1200+ square foot townhouse in Boise! We are still trying to find things (mostly the things that went to storage instead of the townhouse on moving day). Actually, our little house is cute and cozy. I will get some pictures up soon. We will be here for awhile (a year or so) so that we can minimize expenses then we will look for a house. It is quite an adjustment to be in a space less than 1/2 the size of our previous house. Fergie is getting adjusted to not having a back yard. He does like the walks that we take, though!
