Learning to Love Unconditionally

Saying that I am learning to love unconditionally sounds pompous. It is not meant to be - I am learning that I have a long way to go to love my husband in a selfless and unconditional way. We have a good life, and I am so thankful that we can still share our life together. However, as Rich continues to lose his memory and his inhibitions, I must lean into the truths of God's Word to exhibit the fruits of the spirit - to be kind, patient, joyful, and loving. One area that has been a struggle for Rich is self-control. Rich loves to eat junk food. I make him good meals and I buy some snacks that are meant to be eaten a little at a time (at least that is my idea), but Rich will eat a bag of chips in one or two days. I offer to put some in a bowl for him so I can hopefully help him make the chips last longer. He wants snacks every day, but with grocery prices so high, we can't afford buying four bags of chips a week. Also, he has put on weight and I don't want him to be load...
